“Al, Owen and team did an entire house renovation for our fixer-upper. Our realtor gave us their number because of the great quality of work and after meeting with them once, I was ready to go. It was a 1960's fixer upper we were thinking about buying in our dream location and if Iron Rose hadn't come through, we might not be settled and happy with our location right now. I am an anxious person and was prepared for a HGTV-style reno nightmare BUT I had so much fun working with them! They touched every room and one year later, everything is still perfect. My kitchen is a show piece. Owen refinished our wood floors beautifully. They took down walls, created an office with a double sided fireplace, and made 3 very dated bathrooms shine. They installed appliances and new water-proof flooring where we didn't have hardwood. They communicated so well, anticipated problems, stayed on a very tight timeline and budget and created a dream house. CONTACT THEM NOW!!!”

“Completely gutted kitchen and one bathroom. Updated master and half bath. Wonderful company! Contractor/owner, Virgil, is honest and very particular about job being done and monitors closely. The tradesmen were outstanding. Beautiful work and very respectful of our home keeping it as clean as possible. We couldn't have asked for a better finished product. We would recommend this company to anyone. Might I add that we got three bids on our project. Kitchen Expo was not the least expensive but were the most professional and promptly responded to every question we had during our decision process. Cudos to Sandy also who gives a great, warm first impression when you walk the the showroom.”

“From design to completion, S&S Homes does fabulous work. We contacted Tony in 2018 regarding a renovation project which required major construction. Oftentimes, projects like this are tough, especially living in the space while the renovation is in process, but they made the experience as smooth as possible. The work area was cleaned daily and communication through the entire process was excellent. We now have a much more usable, open concept layout. Thank you S&S Homes!”

“This company was helpful from start to finish. Very knowledgeable but willing to try a new flooring product in a new way. Job looks fantastic and was finished in a timely manner, and of course was brought in under budget which is always wonderful. Mr Kelly, Linda, Clarence, Paul and James were all especially helpful. This was a two part job remodel the kitchen and repair and upgrading of basement damaged in 2014 flooding my area endured.”

“Advance electric is probably one of the best sources for unique and beautiful fixtures in northern Michigan. The staff is very helpful in selection and are generous with photos, printed information, books, etc for borrowing while you make decisions. They always have some beautiful one-of-a-kind things on sale at great prices or you can order most anything you would want.”

“I've been a contractor for 12 years and this is the first internet site I've ever bought cabinets off of. I was really hesitant in the beginning but they came on the manufacturers truck and were hand delivered by the manufacturers guys. I've only had to replace 2 hinges but other than that everything arrived correctly. Wouid absolutely use again.”

“Residential Resurrections or "Bob the Builder" as he is listed in my IPhone is one of those contractors/builders you would be happy to meet or stumble upon in the Oakland and Macomb Counties. Bob works in Michigan and he and I have discussed, debated and detailed out his last linear shower build together - that and many other subjects on shower construction over the past 18 months. I love talking with tile guys and builders - I do this a lot and can say with every confidence that Bob is a true Pro. Always looking out for the client and working with materials he can stand behind and offer up a fantastic finished job. I would not hesitate in recommending Bob to anyone in Michigan and list him as a recommended installer on my city by city linear drain installer blog site. If your planning a new shower renovation or barrier free shower project look for a builder with a team behind him.
