“Our yard is elegant, graphically interesting and well thought out. We are happy with the thoroughness of the team from Stoney Bank Nurseries. From a highly stylized plan which maximizes the gathering spaces in our courtyard - to the care and effort of the planting staff. The whole experience was completed thoughtfully and efficiently. While specifically addressing drainage and privacy issues we were having, the new yard and fence have made the old problem areas visually pleasing and comfortable features of our yard.”

“Cider Mill Landscapes has done a few projects for me and I could not be more thrilled. My work involved laying a patio, and also extending the pool deck and building a wall with columns around the pool, with lighting added to the columns. “We hired Anne Walters to redesign and refine the landscape around my 1926 home. The house is halfway down a slope and Anne designed a circular herb garden carved out of the slope on the uphill side. She echoed the form of that in a semicircular terrace on the downhill side. Her design tied in to the old home's existing features with an exquisite sense of scale. Her plan also added trees, and extensive plantings, both near the house and at the perimeter, as well as a new retaining wall near our driveway and entryway garden. Anne gave us a lovely sequence of plant interest all around the house, along with a subtle and pleasing lighting design. She was a good resource for contractors for all aspects. Three years later, I am delighted with my views from inside the house, and the spaces created outside - and in all seasons. Anne Walters is an excellent designer!”

“I've worked with Deanna and her team for a couple of years and have always been more than delighted with her suggestions and the results. At first I was reluctant to contact Garden Escapes because I was concerned that my project was too small for a professional landscaper. That concern was so wrong! She listened to my ideas, likes, and dislikes. It was also important to me that she did not want to scrap everything that I had done previously and install all new plantings. She worked with my Belgian blocks, ferns and a couple other plantings. Some were relocated and new plantings were installed. She also pushed me very gently to go outside my comfort area regarding lighting. I am thrilled with the results. In fact, in Spring 2015 I plan to have her redo the atrium area with E.P.Henry PavingStones. A final point that's also important to me -- Garden Escapes is a small local business.”
