“The Ream Design team was outstanding in all aspects of the project. They took the time to understand our tastes and needs, and created detailed site plans They listened to our feedback and worked to create plans that we felt comfortable with, guiding us along the way in a constructive manner. We we signed the dotted line they brought in a large crew with the necessary tools. The plants they furnished were top notch. They took care to plant carefully, clean up every day, and to not damage any of the surroundings. If there was a problem they took case of it. No problem was too small. They then guided us during the critical first year when the landscape developed. They took obvious pride in their work and we ended up with a top notch landscape that gets better every year. We were completely satisfied with their work.”

“No one is better than Blade of Grass. Exceptional vision coupled with practical advice. Our backyard plan morphed from a simple "let's knock off the rotting deck" to a backyard redo replete with blue stone patio, field stone wall, irrigation system, tree removal and many new trees and plantings. The team worked hard under difficult conditions (no access for machinery, giant boulder to dig out), the job was done in a timely manner and the outcome surpassed my very high expectations. Tom and Pete were easy to work with, professional and fun. They listened to what we wanted and guided us on key plantings/trees. When a winter storm caused a tree to list heavily to one side, they came and replanted it - almost a year after the job. I am incredibly happy with our backyard transformation and highly recommend Blade.”

“Rutland Nurseries completed 2 projects for us, 2 walkways and an enclosed patio with a rounded sitting wall (Unilock®). There were many positives to having work done by the crew from Rutland Nurseries, among them are: Andy was the designer and supervisor of both projects. He was very easy to work with and patient throughout the planning process. He made suggestions but did not force his opinions on us. He was present almost daily throughout the projects. In addition, the workers arrived on time each morning and came daily until the project was completed. They were respectful of our property and the neighbor’s yard as well. At the end of each day their materials and tools were stored. The workers were personable and had Rutland Nurseries logos on their shirts. We are extremely happy with the work that was completed and would highly recommend Rutland Nurseries if you are thinking of walkways or patios!”

“We served as a contractor to build Angie Verge's landscape design. Angie is extremely organized and efficient. She provided a full bid package with clear CAD drawings to build off of, all to scale with complete dimensions and notes. She was open to discussion, collaboration, and changes while still maintaining leadership of the process and executing effective decision-making throughout. This is the combination we look for in a designer. She provided us with valuable constructive feedback after the project. The experience of working with Angie was great from start to finish, and the project was a success. She is a creative, knowledgeable and competent designer with a strong sense of New England landscapes, and she is a highly professional project manager. “We hired them to redesign/build a pool, sport court and fireplace. Their attention to detail went beyond our expectation. They were always available to meet, listened to our concerns, and were accurate with meeting deadlines. They are professional group that takes pride in their finished product. We are thrilled with our backyard and their customer service is exceptional. We highly recommend them!”

“I hired Kathy to remove old, overgrown existing bushes and plantings and design a new garden and walkway border in front of my house.She came up with a beautiful plan that utilized low maintenance plants that were indigenous to the area and could be maintained with organic gardening methods.Since I live near a salt marsh,I did not want herbicides and pesticides used on my property in case of run-off into the ocean.I gave her my favorite colors and flower suggestions and she did the rest.She was very hardworking and came when scheduled so I felt she was very reliable.Her fees were fairly priced and I found her to be a pleasure to work with.I have recommended her to several of my neighbors and friends.”
