“Steven and his crew from Opulands have done a phenomenal job and displayed thorough professionalism with our home backyard landscaping project. Steven was very respectful of our time, requirements and presented multiple design options to us and the cost tradeoffs. Steven was also kind enough to make multiple trips to allow us time to converge on the design. We are very happy with the tiled option that we eventually settled on and the workmanship of his crew exceeded our expectations. “Kristen designed a beautiful makeover for our yard - front, back and sides. She asked lots of questions before designing anything - what we wanted (pavers, pretty flowers), what we didn't want (water feature, yellow flowers) and in general, how we wanted to use our yard. She came up with lovely, detailed plans for a traditional looking garden (with our traditional looking house) - that were revised slightly with discussion, then found a couple of contractors to bid on the work. She supervised the work of the one we chose, making sure they followed the plans. She recommended a new gardner - good choice. About a year later she replaced the few plants that hadn't made it (for no charge), and now almost two years later the place is absolutely beautiful! I can't tell you how many complements we have received ever since the job was originally completed - and they continue to this day!”

“After attempting to design our front and backyard on our own....and never feeling satisfied with our ideas we decided it was time to hire a designer. Having known Kathy on a personal level for a few years she seemed like the perfect choice. I emailed her to ask about how she worked, cost, etc....and she got back to me promptly with detailed answers to my questions. We set up a time to do a walk through and we were impressed immediately by her eye for design, plant knowledge, thorough approach to the design/project, and creativity. We spent months brainstorming together in person, over email, through text, and even via Pinterest board. She created a wonderful landscaping plan complete with a visual plant list. The design included a paver driveway, rock walls, rock bench, DG patio, travertine patio, lawn, electric water feature, stone bird feeder, and beautiful drought resistant plants. We were pleased with her design and perfectionist attitude (woman of my own heart). When the design was complete we had a hard time finding a contractor in our price range that we felt comfortable with. Kathy went above and beyond to help us find the right person. We were so touched by her desire to make sure we had the right contractor to work on our yard for us that we hired her on to check on the project weekly. The project was completely in a timely manner (even with all the crazy rain), and turned out just perfect. To be honest it is even better than we imagined! We can't wait for all of our little plants to grow! She did an amazing job transforming our ivy jungle into a safe place for our toddler and dog to explore. We are already loving all of our time relaxing in our new space. She listened to all of our hopes and desires and truly created a special place.”

“Tina Roushall is a top notch landscap designer. She is pleasant, intelligent, creative and responsive. Tina listens to her client's requests, researches plants, materials and ideas, and presents them for client's review in conceptual design options with good cost estimations. For every aspect of the job, Tina has several resources she can recommend for clients to interview. While your project is underway, Tina stays in contact with the client and the contractors, physically checking in. When we felt an installed item didn't represent our idea of what something should look like, Tina was on the phone with the installer and on the job site within the hour, assisting in evaluation and change to our liking. When I came up with a new hard scape idea to add to our project mid install, Tina was on the phone with the contractor arranging solutions to my request. Tina is what one would hope for in a perfect landscape designer relationship. We have recommended her to several of our friends who are using her services as well.”

“We hired R&R to build a 1,900 sqft deck, outdoor kitchen and seating area. The team was outstanding! I can't say enough great things about these guys. They were clear about what they were going to do, when they were going to do it, and then in the end, it all happened as they said it would. The entire team was fantastic to work with. They came with great ideas and delivered for us every step of the way. If you are looking to remodel your backyard, look no further - this is your team. Choose anyone else at your own risk. Ron and the team are by far the best contractors I've ever worked with. Plus they are great guys on top of it, which makes the process move so much more smoothly. We never had to chase anyone down or wonder when anything was going to happen. They were great communicators throughout the entire project and we absolutely love our new backyard. Highly recommend working with them!”

“This past summer we hired Landsystems Landscapes to design a backyard retreat for our family. We wanted a space that would be both beautiful and functional, a place for us to entertain our family and friends, but also serve as a private oasis to escape for some peace and quiet. Landsystems were exactly the right people for our job. Not only are they landscape architects, but they’re also contractors. So we knew that if we liked their design ideas we could also hire them to complete the construction too. At first, I worried that hiring landscape designers meant hiring other people’s own personal styles, choices and ideas. I also worried we would be giving up input as to the direction things would go or what we wanted for our space. However, with Landsystems Landscape this was never the case. From their detailed online project questionnaire to multiple design meetings at our house to gain a better understanding of our wants, needs, likes and dislikes Landsystems Landscapes has made the whole design process a collaborative effort that has been both enjoyable and educational. We have felt guided and informed throughout the entire process, never pushed or strayed away from our own likes and the things most important to us. They made sure that we understood each step and felt comfortable and confident with each choice and decision we made. Every person from the Landsystems’ team was professional, respectful, reliable and knowledgeable. In addition, the Landsystems’ personnel made us feel important and valued. They took the time to listen, explain and answer any and all questions we had, even if we asked the same question before or maybe needed a little more explanation or information before feeling completely confident and comfortable with our decision. Of course, a huge factor in our project was budget…everyone has one and everyone is trying to stick to it! Budget was something that we discussed with Landsystems early on in the design process. It was a constant topic and reference point that helped guide our decisions. Landsystems worked very closely with us to stay within our budget without compromising the beautiful design they had created for our backyard. By the end we knew exactly what work was going to be done, how much it was going to cost us and what the final product was going to look like. We were so pleased with Landsystems Landscapes that after the completion of the design process we hired them to implement their creative vision and construct our new backyard. Demolition began a couple weeks ago and we couldn’t be happier with the company, crew and workmanship.”

“David did an exquisite job with my yard: it's an oasis and I spend as much time as I can outside taking it in. it's easy-maintenance, beautiful all seasons, and simply peaceful. The process was painless, and David listened carefully to what I wanted and "got" who I am. Moreover, he was mindful of my budget, and I never felt like I had to give up anything. Over the years I have contacted him with questions, and he has always been generous with his time and ideas. He is knowledgeable, talented, and creative. I LOVE LOVE LOVE his work!”

Years later her initial plantings have held up beautifully. Juliana is honest, resourceful, sensitive to the client's tastes, and is a delightful person. Five stars: highest recommendation.”

“Gun was a real pleasure to work with. She listened very carefully to our half-formed ideas, made sure she understood what we wanted and liked, as well as what we didn't want and didn't like. We are delighted with the results! She transformed our somewhat neglected front yard into a lovely low-water garden. She skillfully guided us through every step, from initial consultation, design, contractor selection, installation and plans for on-going maintenance. Any questions/issues were quickly resolved.
