“David Bartsch and I have worked on numerous projects together on Nantucket Island, he as the Landscape Architect and my company Nicholas Ferrantella Landscaping performing the landscape installations and maintenance. Founded in 1980, we have worked with many architects in the 33 years and David Bartsch is our favorite. His design of a small park on Nantucket Island for Nantucket’s Land Bank is brilliant and "Fair in the Main" has become a favorite place for people to stop and enjoy the peaceful garden and granite fountain. “I would highly recommend Kris for any landscape design project. We have a tricky sloped backyard. He created a beautiful and well thought out design incorporating both plant design and hardscaping. He was professional, fast, and very accommodating for specific requests and changes during the design process. Plus he knows a great deal about plants and how they will grow and look together depending on the look you want. My favorite thing is he has a community of the actual working landscapers who he happily recommends once you are ready to execute his designs. You can’t go wrong choosing Kris for your project.”

“The Ream Design team was outstanding in all aspects of the project. They took the time to understand our tastes and needs, and created detailed site plans They listened to our feedback and worked to create plans that we felt comfortable with, guiding us along the way in a constructive manner. We we signed the dotted line they brought in a large crew with the necessary tools. The plants they furnished were top notch. They took care to plant carefully, clean up every day, and to not damage any of the surroundings. If there was a problem they took case of it. No problem was too small. They then guided us during the critical first year when the landscape developed. They took obvious pride in their work and we ended up with a top notch landscape that gets better every year. We were completely satisfied with their work.”

“We served as a contractor to build Angie Verge's landscape design. Angie is extremely organized and efficient. She provided a full bid package with clear CAD drawings to build off of, all to scale with complete dimensions and notes. She was open to discussion, collaboration, and changes while still maintaining leadership of the process and executing effective decision-making throughout. This is the combination we look for in a designer. She provided us with valuable constructive feedback after the project. The experience of working with Angie was great from start to finish, and the project was a success. She is a creative, knowledgeable and competent designer with a strong sense of New England landscapes, and she is a highly professional project manager. “Carey was a delight to work with. She listened to my goals for my yard and created a long term plan for landscaping. The pictures are of phase one which is the front of the house. She found a water bowl that adds an architectural element and is lovely to look at in the rain. Installation was perfect and done in a timely manner. Can't wait to add to the project this spring.”

“I hired Kathy to remove old, overgrown existing bushes and plantings and design a new garden and walkway border in front of my house.She came up with a beautiful plan that utilized low maintenance plants that were indigenous to the area and could be maintained with organic gardening methods.Since I live near a salt marsh,I did not want herbicides and pesticides used on my property in case of run-off into the ocean.I gave her my favorite colors and flower suggestions and she did the rest.She was very hardworking and came when scheduled so I felt she was very reliable.Her fees were fairly priced and I found her to be a pleasure to work with.I have recommended her to several of my neighbors and friends.”
