We wanted old-fashioned beadboard cabinets for our turn-of-the 20th century kitchen. He wound up making the beadboard as well as the cabinets by hand since he couldn’t find any stock beadboard to meet his exacting standards. He topped it off with a handmade wooden countertop and backsplash to complement the beautiful cabinets, all exquisitely trimmed and finished. Justin is a superlative cabinetmaker, a great listener and thoughtful problem-solver, adept at turning visions into reality. He uses old style joinery, as he learned from his Father. Because of this, his work is more exact, stronger and will last longer than cabinets made with modern or assembly line methods. And, with his dovetail technique, the result is more beautiful.
