“As a first timer in terms of renovations, I was nervous about embarking down that path. I consulted Jenris in 2019 to see what they could do to update my 40 year old home. Chris, with the help of his design consultant Jenna, not only suggested upgrade possibilities, but also design suggestions. The end product was like having a “new home” without having to move a box! Their attention to detail and quality workmanship was second to none. Some of what I appreciated during the construction phase of my project worth noting: •Chris provided me a proposal and detailed estimate within days of our meeting and the final time & materials cost came amazing close to his estimates. Even though we made changes and increased scope along the way, Chris either provided me a new estimate or assured me the changes were within budget. I appreciated having the project completed with no surprises “cost wise”. •Though I had an expectation of what was being delivered, I was always pleasantly surprised by the little additions that were incorporated into the project without having to ask for them (i.e. replacement of bathroom fan vents, ceiling repairs/paint, mounting of my fireplace/TV/sound system & wiring to support that, customized cabinets/telephone desk to fit the new kitchen configuration). •Progress reports, changes to schedule/scope, and day to day status were reported to me on a regular basis. There was complete transparency; when small issues presented themselves, Chris was quick to make me aware of them. •As I was trying to live in the house during construction, I appreciated that Jenris maintained a clean workspace. They removed garage, removed any construction debris/dust and left a clean work area at the end of every day. •I appreciated that Jenris and their contractors were invested and worked together to make my vision a reality.
