“This morning as I was putting clothes in one closet I realized that I have had not written a promised review of Classy Closets and that it has been almost 15 months since they were installed. But, I wanted to share how amazing the people and products of Classy Closets are. Here is my review: Choose Classy Closets! I have a decent size condo in North County but the storage space is limited, or rather WAS limited. Last Fall, I started researching custom closets. Between on-line, do-it-yourself closets (which I knew I wouldn't have the time for, and would probably mess up, since this old condo's right angles are few and far between) and the two big closet companies that I see advertising in junk mail (whose reviews made me cautious), I started looking at local vendors. Just a note,...ALL the local vendors beat the prices of the two big name vendors (California something, Closet something...) and Classy Closets beat them all.w After several quotes and home visits from several, local companies, all of whom were really good and professional, I chose Classy Closets and have been happy since. My condo had limited storage, now it has amble storage. Brooke, who designed, quoted, and coordinated the closets and installation was very personable, patient, attentive to detail, prompt, and organized. Best of all, she was not pushy at all. Todd and Jenna on the day of the install, arrived at my door at 9am, the time agreed upon. They were actually parked about 10 ten minutes early and rang the doorbell at 9am exactly. They removed and disposed of my old closets with great care, repainted needed areas (with paint I provided as agreed upon), and finished the installation of the new closets in a master and side bedroom in less time than anticipated. They were incredibly courteous and obviously mindful of being in a customers home, as they continually cleaned along the way. When they departed, both bedrooms were probably cleaner than they were when they arrived, and the closets looked amazing. They did encounter the lack of right angles in one of my closets but Todd and Jenna were able to come up with solutions that worked aesthetically and functionally. I've had vendors and contractors in my condos before, but Todd and Jenna were the best. Thank you!!! The people at Classy Closets do amazing work and ensured I was satisfied from the very first phone call to the time Todd and Janna left. Thank you for reading this long review. I know buying custom closets is a significant, financial investment. I wanted to share with you a company that did a great job without the sticker shock of the big name closet companies. “Jeanelle is a master! She has an amazing eye for design. I first used Jeanelle for the complete design and remodel of my aerial fitness studio. I was so impressed with her work that I also used her for my home kitchen remodel. We added new cabinets, backsplash, paint, appliances, and flooring throughout the entire bottom floor. She not only come up with ideas that I would never have thought of, but she also made sure to incorporate my personal design style and personality. She was always sensitive to cost and worked hard to stay within my budget. She also made it very easy to work with all of the contractors, painters, etc. All of the contractors she works with are professional and really care about their work. In most cases, I did not have to deal directly with anyone other than Jeanelle - so easy! Not only did she stick to the timeline given, but was early in some cases. She was very easy to communicate with and a pleasure to work with! I will definitely be using her for any future home design projects!”

“I couldn’t recommend Uncluttered by Design more!! Katelin was so easy and fun to work with. She went above and beyond to get the materials we needed for the closets, cleaned and organized the areas she was working on for us and provided a fabulous service all the way around. We live in a smaller 1980’s track-home so to have completely customized/functional closets that look like they are out of a magazine is truly a dream come true. Now I’m addicted and want her to organize every square inch of my house lol.”

“I researched for several months before deciding to go with ISS Designs for two wall units in my apartment. I could not be happier. I was very particular with what I wanted, and their design team worked with me to ensure that everything I wanted was included. The cabinets and drawers have custom depths so that cords for a printer and table lamp would be hidden behind the drawer and plugged into an outlet that the wall unit covered. All the parts came in two shipments and were neatly packaged. They were very patient with me while I meticulously went over all the parts that were shipped. I chose not to install them myself and instead used a contractor that they recommended. The installation cost was worth every penny. What should have been a relatively straight forward installation took a considerably long time, not because of the design, but because of problems with my walls. Despite the difficulties, the installation was outstanding, and the installers made sure the shelving were at heights to my liking. The two units are stunning and exactly what I wanted to meet my storage needs. I highly recommend ISS Designs.”

“Susan from Organizing A to Z was a life saver, she not only saved my sanity, but probably my marriage. We added 2 more bedrooms and a bathroom, but I still didn’t have room for all our “stuff.” I felt overwhelmed and my husband just wanted everything put away as soon as possible. Susan came and helped me as well as my teen daughters and husband prioritize and find homes for everything. I have a hard time parting with my belongings so Susan’s mantra of “you can keep it if you find a home for it” was so reassuring. She helped my husband and I talk through how we wanted the rooms to look like. She kept us on task while here helping and with our “homework” when she wasn’t. She was so calming and had great ideas. I don’t know what I would have done if she hadn’t come, but I am sure I would still be sitting in a house full of piles of stuff, instead of a nice neat house that I can entertain in. “I cannot say enough about Brittney Stegermen and Conquering Clutter. We purchased a home that needed all of the closets to be redone to be functional and to serve our needs (we don't have a ton of storage otherwise, so we needed shelving in addition to typical hanging space). Additionally, we have a lot of different clothing items to accommodate (including extra long gowns and heavy military uniforms). In consulting with closet organizers, we received bids from both Conquering Clutter and California Closets and we could not be happier that we went with Conquering Clutter for the customer service, cost, and quality. Brittney was just the best. Super responsive and available almost 24/7, so was able to respond professionally and courteously to all of our random questions, design tweaks, and concerns. We had some specific design requests, like black hardware, and she was able to accommodate all of it. The night before our install, I had a moment of panic at 10:30 that the design had not taken into account an internet fixture on our wall and the team would not be able to install a back panel. Not only did Brittney respond to my late night text, she actually looked up our design, saw that the panel was not noted, but assured me that the installation team would have everything on hand to accommodate. The installation team was truly top notch. We had four closets to completely demo and install and they were on time, efficient, and super courteous of our home. They covered everything, from the floor where they staged the closet pieces to the area where they put their tools to the walking path they took through our house. When I needed to have the height of one of the hanging spaces adjusted, at the end of a long day, they happily accommodated me. They were so friendly, worked a literal eight-hour day to get the job done with no down time, and left our home in the same condition as when they entered. This may seem like it should be industry standard, but we are currently also going through a long and painful renovation where neither our design "professional" nor any of her vendors/subcontractors have done anything to protect or care for our home while in it. To have this team care so much was such a welcome change. We definitely plan to have Brittney back out to help us with our garage and cannot recommend her and her team highly enough!”

“Stephanie spent enough time with us to understand exactly what we wanted and needed. She is very detail oriented and has good communication skills. As a result of her expertise once we signed off on the plan we knew just what to expect. Having her in our home was easy because she spent just the time needed to complete the job. We plan to use her and OCD Organizer again.”

“We hired Edgar and his team to refinish a dining room table, two leafs, 6 chairs and china cabinet. It came out beautifully, and quickly. Edgar brought us a sample right away to approve, they picked up the furniture and it was returned within days. We were so pleased with the result, we asked Edgar to give us an estimate on updating our kitchen cabinets. We had previous estimates and Edgar’s was much more reasonable. They went from a stained dark brown to white, with soft close drawers and doors. He was able to modify small drawers into large single drawers. Edgar is a perfectionist, and has a pleasant personality. When they sprayed the cabinet boxes, they had completely taped off the area, there was no overspray. We highly recommend this company, and are planning more home updating projects with Edgar.”

“Hilker's recently did a beautiul kitchen for us on a home addition project. First let me start by saying I am super picky- I used to do interior design before I moved to California so I know what to look for with quality, craftsmanship,etc. I was a little nervous to try a new company but my builder highly recommended them as being very fair priced with excellent quality. They definitely lived up to expectations! The only challenge we had was a bump in the road with the subzero panels not fitting correctly, but Hilker's took full responsibility and fixed the problem immediately. Isaac is super detail oriented and obviously loves what he does. It's a family owned company, which is nice too. We did a small, very modern kitchen but he showed me beautiful traditional and transitional styles they had done as well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for any size project.”
