“We were introduced to carpentry unlimited after hurricane sandy for a garage rebuild. We had been working with another builder for a while, but we were stalled out in the construction process due to permits,etc. We decided to call other local builders to try and get the rebuild done ASAP before the winter. Carpentry unlimited has been in business for many years and therefore is known in the area and this fact made the entire building process so much easier for us. They were flexible with making some changes as the construction was taking place and were in constant contact with us regarding updates in deliveries of supplies. Our garage came out great and they are now working on updates on the rest of our house including windows and siding, and have already completed a great new front porch for us. They fabricated the house to look like a Federal Period house, so authentic that it has fooled architect visitors who could not understand that it was built new, rather than moved to the location. 12" wide board floors of walnut, cherry and oak, all solid lumber cabinets and paneling, Dutch Gambrel cedar shake roof, leaded glass fanlight and sidelites around the entrance door, solid marble slab showers. Authentic dentil modillions, absolutely beautiful. They built over 500' of granite fieldstone walls, hand-chiseled to look original. They were a pleasure to work with, Peter Triestman the owner was extremely attentive to all our needs.”
