Justin used a helical pile product instead of concrete footings. The helical pile was quickly installed, gave a measurable load bearing capacity, and created minimal mess. Justin suggested that I go with the black balusters which I never would have considered on my own. What a great suggestion! They blend right in and don't detract from the view. Justin was the type of contractor I felt comfortable leaving unsupervised at my home; his crew was equally respectable. Justin showed up every day and worked the full day; he didn't hop between jobs like some contractors do. His attention to detail was spectacular.
