“Alitex are a partner we can passionately describe as best-of-breed. It's a common occurrence for one of our team to conduct a site visit to the client's property and see an Alitex glasshouse with already installed or being constructed! Their products are simply fabulous but what sets them apart from their peers is the level of personal attention they provide to their clients throughout the process of purchasing a structure. Alitex operate out of a beautiful factory and showroom in Hampshire which is worth a visit for the tour of the machining and craftsmanship alone! If you're not sure you've seen an Alitex Glasshouse go to Limewood House, Chewton Glen or the Pig in Brockenhurst. They're all Alitex happy customers!”

“I was looking for a cabin to use as an art studio and had looked at several other companies. When I went to this company however I received such a warm welcome, helpful information about the range of options available, details about the materials used in construction and reassurances about siting it in an awkward corner of my garden, that I had no question this was the company for me. I was kept fully informed on the progress of my cabin arriving for installation by the lovely office team and I can’t say enough wonderful things about the great team of guys who came to install the cabin for me. I love my studio and have spent many happy hours painting and creating in it since it was finished. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Living Outside to anyone looking for their own ideal outdoor space.”

“I would highly recommend this company, nothing is too much trouble. The job was completed on budget and more or less on time, it was all external works so obviously the weather was a factor. Kevin & his guys were always extremely helpful and a pleasure to have around. It was to form a driveway & steps, a considerable amount of landscaping had to be done to achieve the finished result. He was always very patient when it came to me choosing materials etc.”

“I engaged this company earlier this year to construct a bespoke insulated wooden shed alongside my property. Despite the appalling winter conditions that had to be endured, the building work was in no way compromised and I am very happy with the outcome. Labour charges were very reasonable and all materials were itemised and receipted. I would have no hesitation recommending this company.”

“After meeting Nick at one of the Downland demo huts, we discussed what features we would like and what configuration of doors and windows would suit our garden. We were very impressed with the build quality of the hut and the decoration and finish was exceptional. We received a quotation within a day or two for a Nodmore Hut and were provided a scale drawing confirming the hut dimensions and layout. The price was very competitive in comparison to other hut’s we had looked at, and we accepted the quotation. Nick kept us informed of progress during the build, and delivered the hut on schedule, and made sure the hut was level and exactly where we wanted it. Downland also liaised with our electrician to make sure the proper electrical supply was available for the hut. All in all we are extremely pleased with our new hut.”
