    It looks like agate, but it is simply massive. I'm no expert on the topic by any means, but I wouldn't be surprised if this was a high end recreation to obtain the look that the home owner wanted.

    Someone please clarify: is the wall stone or is it painted? The article mentions something about tiles with resin inlaid with pebbles. Did Alex Turcos use resin and pebbles or some other material to do the wall or did he paint it? A wall panel can be made of anything so this is a bit obscure.
