How do you remove load bearing wall for this effect

    Since this was a new home, there was no wall to remove. There is a steel frame concealed within the framing, which spans the total opening, leaving the walls around the island as non structural and act as a jamb to receive the pocket doors which when closed minimize the visibility into the Kitchen.
