How do you manage the heat in the summer?

Love the design but with so much glass, how do you prevent it from turning into a greenhouse in the summer? Do you use any special glass or ventilation design?

The glass is an actual commerical curtainwall with high performance glass, low-E, double insulated, with argon in the gap. These same systems are used in high-rise buildings. All rooms have operable windows and sunshades. We have a Crestron building management system that maximizes the HVAC use in each zone, the house has 11 zones for effect use. The heating is a dual gas forced air and high efficiency gas boiler radiant floor system.
