Gorgeous redesign! What kind of wood did you use?

This is such a smart and beautiful redesign! Curious what kind of wood was used on the deck and fence? Also, what kind of footings were put in under the concrete planter?

    the new wood skin on the fence is clear cedar, the deck wood is dark red Meranti. The concrete planter has a pretty significant footing, the planter itself is 3'-6" wide x 7'-0" long, I believe the footing is roughly 5'-6" x 9' long x 12" deep. Hefty.

    Very nice project.

    Who was the concrete contractor? I am looking for someone with board form experience.
