Backyard deck with some zing!
Hi, we are just coming to the end of the building of a new home. We are wanting to design a ground level deck (uncovered due to council regulations) outside a large sliding door in the dining area. The slider is 4m wide and the space between the house and the boundary fence is 3.6m so we were thinking to build the deck all the way to the fence but unsure how to give it some wow as well as screen the neighbours shed which runs in almost the exact position of the deck. (see brown area in attached plan)
Also running the deck all the way to the fence isolates a portion of the garden on the left side and there is a large picture window looking out there so it would be great to look out onto a lovely feature.
This is the view out the dining sliders onto the space we were thinking of a deck.
This is the view out of the large picture window in the kitchen, which could also use some screening!
Any ideas or help would be fantastic!
