Looks to be Soapstone, similar to a long shallow trough sink we produced for clients from Canadian Soapstone. The sink was similar in length, but we divided it into 3 basins.
I assume since the sink shown has 3 faucets it is intended to be used by 3 people at a time. Since it is one piece, I can think of nothing more delightful than seeing the spittle, mucous and whatever else from the neighbouring user go floating past me on its way to the drain. And this is considered a luxury? Really? Forgive my unvarnished words, but bad design masquerading behind high end finishes is still bad design---horrible design in this case. It would be worse than brushing one's teeth in a crowded public restroom.
