What are the soffits made from?

They're only slightly visible, but the soffits caught my eye. They look like corrugated metal in this photo. What is the material? (Thanks!)

    These soffits are either hemlock or cedar but.....corregated metal, huh? I like it. Stay tuned for a future synthesis job where we use corregated metal soffitting. thank you!
