For all of you resident Houzzers, you'll know it's that time of year again - oh yes, it's awards season! With the Oscars hurtling towards us, that means it's also time for our own ceremony where we'll be celebrating the interiors of iconic movies from then and now!

We’ve nominated 9 memorable movie interiors and all you need to do is vote for your favourite film-inspired interior with a comment and you’ll be entered into our random prize draw and could be in with a chance of winning an iPad Mini.

To qualify, vote for one of the nominees below, and leave a comment stating the film you voted for. To help you along the way, we’ve put together a selection of three images per movie that will hopefully jog your memory should you have forgotten what the interiors looked like. If you disagree with our selection, feel free to comment with a film of your choice!

The competition closes at midnight on 28th February 2016, and the winner will be notified the following week. By registering your vote and adding a comment, you are agreeing to our competition terms and conditions.

And the Houzzcar goes to...

Mary Poppins - Cherry Tree Lane
Something's Gotta Give - Hamptons Beach Home
Lost in Translation - Park Hyatt Hotel
You've Got Mail - Kathleen Kelly's Townhouse
Eat Pray Love - Bali Home
Bridget Jones's Diary - Bridget's Flat
The Holiday - Iris's Cottage
The Talented Mr. Ripley - Capri Villa
Gone With The Wind - Scarlett's Home
Other - tell us!

Chantelle and I are going for the same one. The Schaffer residence as seen in A Single Man, I can't add much to what she's already said, other than it was at the beginning of Lautner's career, built in 1949 so right near the start of the whole mid-century modern period of design and architecture. I adore Lautner's work and when I found out - after falling in love with this interior (it's George's home) in the film it delighted me to find out whose work it was. I guess you'd expect nothing less stylish from Tom Ford. Chantelle has already uploaded some images, so I'll just add a couple more so everyone can see how glorious this home is. The first is George's bedroom, the second is of George and Jim (his long term partner from whose death George is drowning in grief) sitting happily reading on their sofa with their dog. The second, for me, is a beautiful moment of true love and romance without the unnecessary hearts and flowers, just the calm of knowing you and your partner are in the right place with the right person.

I vote for Gone with the Wind!! My Granda ( who has now passed away) told me that when he was a young fella he remembers going to the 'picture house' (cinema) to watch gone with the wind, it was on over 3 nights and he went on his bicycle to see it! I believe this kind of nostalgia deserves the winning vote!

"Quite frankly my dear I don't give a damn!"..

"...I'll think of some way to get him back. After all tomorrow is another day."

Such a great old tragic film with brilliant, differing interiors indicating rags to riches and back to rags again alongside a spoilt , arrogant 'lady' and handsome rogue !!

I love the design of Colin Firth's house in the film A Single Man. The materials used seem to blur the line between interior and exterior while still looking warm and comfortable.

Other - Great Gatsby because I love 20's art deco style but then again, how about 2001 Space Odyssey for that amazing mix of classic and mid century - who would have thought that that worked and I really like it

I've gone for 'other' as it sprung to mind straight away that we used the little kitchen in the movie Sabrina as inspiration for our own kitchen as we loved the 1950s style use of lots of timber!

The house in Practical Magic. It was a character in its own right. A white Victorian villa with wooden floors, antique dark furniture and leather chairs. And a light and bright kitchen with an aga as a centre point. The first film house I ever fell in love with!

Hi, I'd already decided to vote for Something's Gotta Give before I saw you had included it. I have mixed emotions about this wonderful house… it's beautiful and … I'd love to emulate it BUT the comment from my, now, ex during the film was "What a fabulous house… I'd even take my shoes off for that!" … well, thanks, you definitely didn't for our home and that kind of sours my memory of the film a bit… actually, hardly at all ... ;o)

Though it isn't "Special" as per modernity, Bridget jone's flat in Bridget jone's diary (which I voted for) represents, I believe, how most flats are furnished (except for the weird colour combo). The setup guys did a good job with not being superfluous with their presentation. When you are trying to identify with the populace, your depiction, in my opinion, should model what obtains; this I believe they did well.
