      Thanks for all of the pats on the back everyone! It was quite an undertaking for us and it definitely tested my skills! It is a very relaxing and peaceful room that we enjoy every day. My wife especially loves to soak in the tub while watching Netflix! LOL :) Thanks again for the compliments. On to the next project!

      Some of you have remarked about the tub, so I'll explain. We happened upon the tub while passing by a high end tile shop in the International Market Square building in Minneapolis, MN. The tub had been on display for about 3 years and they needed to clear it out for a newer, updated model. We bought it for about 1/8 of the retail price. It was still new and had never been used. It is what started the entire bathroom project.

      When we bought it, we had no vision for the bathroom at all. The tub sat in our garage for a few months, but once winter began, we brought it inside (too cold in the garage) and it sat in our office for months! LOL We also had not thought ahead about its size and if it would fit through a narrow hallway and two doorways. Ummm- barely with about 1/4" to spare with the door frames removed. Whew!

      So, we learned a lot on this project, but we love the result. :)
