When was this house built?

We're interested in buying the house below, and it's got me thinking about decorating. Which era does it hail from? 1950s?

      yes...1930s double fronted detatched. Sturdy, well built...and beautiful chimneys!

      Well...there's wood panelling, stained glass, art deco 'sunbursts', bowed armed chairs, brick glazed tiles, stunning '1 over 3' internal doors and don't forget the parquet floors!! I could go on..and on...

      Tall skirting boards, clever use of period colour vs. a lovely neutral palette, tiled hallway floors; would be lovely if there's the original there but there are great new decorative tiles on the market now to tastefully reproduce it. Large, decorative rugs for comfort over your parquet floors to cover the areas where your furniture is positioned. Just a few more things for you to look out for.... Lovely project to get your teeth into, I'm sure!
