Is my draw microwave supposed to stick out or not

We had our installer put in the microwave but I've seen the sharp drawer one installed in 2 different ways. How would I know which one I should use?

The way it is now( sticks out im not so happy with .

Move attached our microwave and also a picture of another one I saw online which I like it's fitting much better.

    How yours is installed is correct. That's what it looks like it real life.
    The online photos you posted could be super imposed or photoshopped in.

    Thank you all! I'm so happy to know that it was done right. Mine does have some space between the top of microwave to cabinet as I think Kraftmaid measurements of that cabinet wasn't 100%
