Glass section in floor

Hello, we are thinking of adding a glass section to the floor in our new bedroom in our attic extension in order to provide daylight in the bathroom below. Does the idea work & is it practical?

    Yes! Doing a glass floor was an inexpensive way for us to get light to the living room below. One of the issues to be aware of is scratching - which can be an issue on the glass if shoes are worn in the house.
