Two couches or a sectional?

We are building and debating between a sectional and two couches. I'm leaning toward to couches plus two or three chairs. The photo is from the front door.

The area to the right is the dining/kitchen and will have a large island.

    I think 2 couches is a better solution than a sectional. It is more mobile, easy to move around, and leaves more visual space than a sectional. Sectional tends to take up space and visually block a whole chunk of the area.

    Looks like an amazing space! Can't wait to see it when it's complete. I agree that 2 sofas will look better and function better. Sectionals are too mundane these days as well.
