Extension to side of farm house

This is fabulous ! Why did you put the extension to the side? Also what size is this extension and what is in the room in the original house the far side of the link? Many thanks

    The extension designed in this way for several reasons.

    Orientation (sun and views)

    Courtyard setting (farm yard vernacular)

    Approach

    Frame the garden created by the clients Mum (which was later removed but lawn retained in same location)

    The original living room is retained in the original house to far side of link.
