How did you remove the old tile off the walls? Did you cover them?

    Hi- We were able to chisel the tiles off one by one. The tile backing was from the 50's and was put on with plaster & metal lath that had to be air-hammered. It was not a fun process! Everything was taken down to the studs and then re-wall boarded.
