paint or stain newel posts

We are currently putting in rod iron balusters and I’m wondering if I can paint the newel posts white while staining the handrails. Or are the handrails to match the newel posts?

    Hi Kelly,

    If you contact your local supply other than vanilla big box stores, yes, you should be able to coordinate both newels and handrails. Thank you.
