What flooring was used? Was it placed over the top of the tiles or were tiles removed?

    Hi Kelly. Thanks for your message. It is wood flooring and we did have to take the tiles up and put a new substrate floor in. When working with such high quality wood, you want to ensure you have a perfect floor to lay it on. Plus it had to be secured/ nailed down, so needed the substrate to attached it to. I hope this is of help!
