I have an all gold 30’ x 30’ LR that I repainted in SW mindful grey which looks blue certain times of the day. Have 18’ windows with a southern exposure, taupe/grey tile floors & natural oak trim. The paint has a primer built in. Do you think another coat will help to tone down the blue look. I am awaiting new furniture which is in the darker grey colors.
Hello, I wish I had a clear answer for you but unfortunately we’ve never worked with Sherwin Williams paint colours before. I would imagine that if you’re finding the colour gives a blueish undertone, another coat of it wouldn’t make it any less so. Natural oak is definitely warm in tone so that could be what gives the paint colour it’s cooler undertone when they are paired (if that makes sense). Sorry that I cannot provide a more definitive answer for you. Wishing you the best of luck!!
