Just curious how you go about these, and is this in any way operational/movable. We've only done it a few times, ordered a roller the size needed, then had our workroom make a velcro'd shape.
Hi Anna. We haven’t found a way to do an operable shade yet. The one we did for this skylight used a rectangular panel of 3% Constellation. We reinforced the ends with a twill tape and installed grommets. We installed three sections of Ks track. One section in the middle and two on each side with hooks. Hooked the two ends and let the treatment drape across the centre section. Used 1.5 times fullness and it created a nice square sail shape.
We have another one that we may do which would be a hexagon. That would be without the rods and would suspend by hooks.
I am interested in seeing the powerview shutters that are coming soon as a possible solution as well. All the best
