    Hi Tanya! This is one of our products called an Undercover System. The patented design allows for the ceiling to be supported by the gutter system. The gutter/support system attaches around the inside perimeter of your deck or pergola. This keeps the top of the ceiling open so that water and debris can exit the ceiling without any impediments blocking the natural flow of material from the ceiling. This also allows for air to flow freely between the top of the ceiling and the bottom of the deck. This is important for drying out after a rain. We use 22 Gauge Galvanized Steel, coated to our specifications with a Dura-Coat Polyester Paint. We use Structural Grade Steel with a minimum yield strength of 50,000 lbs.
