Ever wot with the Timbertech t&g for a covered porch?

What issues are there to work with if using t&g for a covered porch rather than boards with open space between? Trying to replace our old t&g front porch and would like to maintain the look. But not seeing many people using it.

    Hello Kimberly,


    With our porch products, you can install them both in an uncovered and covered area. It comes down to the look due to the different widths of the porch products vs decking products. When it comes to the price, our porch boards tend to run higher than decking, so budget is often a deciding factor (this can be obtained from your local lumberyard).
