Do you prefer to use all wood cedar or veneer over steel?

Do you have a go-to garage door you prefer to use for this look? Are the all Western Cedar doors superior to the ones with cedar lined? Do you have a brand preference? I respect your opinion. Thank you.

    The doors in the image are made by Designer Doors in River Falls Wisconsin.

    These are authentic and insulated, but are rather pricey. As an alternative Wayne Dalton has a number of options including a custom wood door.


    Clopay has a decent series of steel carriage house doors that insulated but have a "faux wood" surface. These are likely less expensive.
