How High should these be installed?

Since lighting is coming out above and below, what is a good height for a standard height hallway?

    The fixture can be mounted horizontal or vertical. If mounting horizontal you would ideally want to leave at least a foot space above the fixture to fully get the effect of the light illuminating, however the fixture can be mounted at any distance from the ceiling.
