Radiators for a kitchen

User
5 år sedan

Hi we are having our kitchen replaced and initially wanted wet ufh retrofitting but getting anyone to quote has been almost impossible.
So this leaves us needing new rads of about 4000-5000 btu each. ive never bought any rads before so not sure what to look for.
The kitchen is a true handleless concrete job so fairly modern and industrial

Do an internet search for the style you are looking for. Eg. modern industrial radiators. There are loads of options these days. Some radiators can look like works of art hanging on a wall - seriously you wouldn't know they were radiators.

Steel column radiators either modern or traditional are better at kicking out high BTUs as they have a greater surface area. Also often available in tall vertical sizes which makes it easier to fit in a big one. A tall column rad or two in black or anthracite would fit perfectly in style terms.

Hi. We ordered these for our open plan living as also wanted ufh but couldn’t do it retrospectively.
Searched for a while and these are super high btu (think they may do a 2 column version as well which is less btu if these are too high)

Another user on here said they had the same ones and they were quite good

    Hi,

Something like our Terma Ribbon sounds like it could be just the dash of industrial chic you're looking for!

One of our team would be more than happy to give you a call and go through BTUs with you to find the perfect new radiators for your kitchen project, if you'd like?

    Kind regards,
