This ceiling is exactly what I was describing to my husband and builder! 😊 We have 10’ ceilings and I didn’t like the large gap between the ceiling and cabinets, so I was thinking of a soffit with T&G to close the gap. My husband couldn’t visualize it, and then I found your post. Thank you very much! Now he agrees and loves the idea! 😊 You designed a beautiful kitchen and home. I would like to ask how wide the soffit is over the cabinets? Is it 3.5’ or 4’ or more? Thanks again. 😁. Brenda

    I just looked at it. It measures 4’ 6” from the edge of the soffit to the wall behind the cabinets.
