how would this wood hold up on a home facing the street, expressway, train, chicago winters?

    Shelby, thanks for reaching out, it has held up beautifully thus far with Chicago winters and its north street facing orientation. The key is likely its multi coat penetrating sealer, quality Cedar / IPE material, quality construction. and large (Protective) overhang
