Indoor shower fixtures ok for outdoor showers?

Is this an indoor shower fixture? Is there any concern with using it for an outdoor shower? I have been trying to research, to no avail, whether it is advisable or fine to use an indoor shower fixture (like your photo) for an outdoor shower. We live in the Mid-Atlantic, weather wise, and are not near salt water. Thx for the help!

    The valve in the picture is a very common interior Symmons valve. It is OK to use since almost all valves are made of Brass.

    Thank you. And do you remove the face plate and handle and the shower head and arm for the winter or no they’ve done fine left exposed tear round?

    The water needs to be turned off and the exposed pipes drained for the winter.
