Is this a regular cabinet that was modified to sit in the counter?

We have one to install in our remodeled kitchen and I want to make sure it can be right on the counter so we can just pull appliances out. How was it modified and installed?

    That is how it was designed and installed. I don't know who is doing your cabinets, but we are full custom and this appliance garage was made this way. So we did not modify anything. Does this answer your question?
