How did you install the rope lighting?

This is beautiful. I can't figure out from the photo how/where you insta;;ed the rope lighting. Can you provide any more detail? Thank you

    There is a recess (Toe kick and the lighting is up inside of the top of the recess). Hope that answers you question.
