how is the bedskirt attached?

Do you recall how the bedskirt was designed so the bed rails show? Is it attached to the backside of the rails?

    The bed skirt was attached to the back side of the wood foot and sideboards with a heavy duty Velcro tape. The drop (length) of the skirt is shorter than a typically sized bed skirt for a custom fit. Skirt is in three pieces.

    Thank you so much. My bed is very similar. I’m hesitant to stick Velcro on my sideboards, but this is exactly the look I want so I may need to just go for it. Again, thanks for answering my question.
