Beautiful! Brick get unbearably hot? We’re also planning to do mcnear brick (not pavers) and tested them out at their site and they didn’t seem hot. However, we keep hearing that brick around pool is a bad idea and that it gets unbearably hot? Any insights from the homeowners? Thank you!

    Much depends on the climate where you live. This project is in Atherton, CA, the San Francisco Bay Area where hottest summer temps are in the mid 80’s, rarely above 90. We have had clients comment on how Bluestone can absorb and hold heat, but not brick. Generally, the darker the color, the more heat retention from sun exposure
