How is the range vented?

I notice in this project and some of your others the range does not have a hood above it (at least not that I can tell). Are you integrating a hood somehow? Please tell me your secret! I love the look.

    Thanks! Where there’s no hood visible it’s a downdraft hood. So it pops up from the countertop to become the vent and the piping goes down not up.
