Minuet countertops with a marble backsplash - nice or clashing?

For reference we have white shaker kitchen cabinets with nickel hardware. Minuet countertops are being installed this week, and I am debating doing solid white subway tile or a marble look. picture does not do it justice so i attached the website photos as well. if i go with this tile i was thinking a light gray grout.

Otherwise, basic white subway tile with white grout lol

thoughts?

    Agree with ^^. Looks like trying for a match that missed. Shouldn’t there be only 1 star - either counter top or BS? In this case it’s clearly the countertops.


    PS - I’m sure you know but really make sure BS white matches countertop. Hope both are same white as cabinets.

    Like Glacier White Corian, subway tile plays nice with others all the time. Swirly marble not so much.

    It's hard to have two things are the close in looks and go together well; I steer my clients to other options.

    Unless you can buy more slab in sequence and put it on the wall. Then you'd be ok.
