Steam shower rids the body of toxins, relieves tension, opens sinuses, and eases arthritis pain. Also sheds a few pounds if used on a regular basis.

Steam shower for sure. You've got the hot, and the cold rinse. Clear those sinus', flush those toxins, sleep like a baby.

Hmm, tough to decide, so why decide and choose? I love to relax in the hot tub, then cool off in the pool, then jump back into the hot tub, then finish off in the sauna! My condo has great amenities and all I have to do is head downstairs, which to be honest, I need to do more often!! And I think I would, with new fuzzy cozy slippers! :)

@Sustainable Dwellings and I would clearly get along well! The horseback ride part is required. Failing that, I will also accept a nice bathtub with an outstanding view - I'm partial to lakeside sunsets, so a private view of a lake from the tub with the window cracked to hear the sound of the water outside would be outstanding.

I love to take a hot bath. It makes me relax, and taking a hot bath I read a book and I listen to music. This becomes my sauna,as I begin to release stress and my boby began to feel new . I am energized all over again.Thers is nothing like it.

I have back issues and the dry heat from my far-infrared sauna relieves those aches without spiking blood pressure that a hot tub causes. I do like the hot tub when on vacation though. :-)

Couldn't think of anything so boring as to lie in a tub of sweaty water, no no, for me it's a walk through the forest or along a deserted beach, having a chat with myself : ) Exercise AND relaxation simultaneously.

The way for me to relax differs from the time of year we are in however, music and a good book are never far away. And, oh yeah a glass of wine makes it perfect.
Winter fireplace, summer in the shade of a tree. I just realize, we are talking vacation since we don't have a fireplace in our flat. Cooking, trying a new recipe is heaven.
I am not a lady of leisure, simply retired ;-)

A long meditative walk in the evening is the best way for me to relax... Being in motion is far more relaxing to me than sitting stationary... But a nice mineral spa is fab on the bones... It is a great way to help cope with physical pain or discomfort, and it is wonderful for my mind too : )
