Bowles Farm House
January 2015, we are in the early stages of this project This week we are meeting with the structural engineer, a good friend from the lacrosse community, Daren Denton. Planning on opening up the the walls in the kitchen, expanding it into the great room, building two kitchen islands, exposing some of the old brick. Keeping the feel of the nice old farmhouse and updating to a nice open floor plan. The house is a great piece of Colorado History, known more recently as the Chambers Farm, and prior to that as the Bowles Farm. Quite a few interesting stories, previous additions and renovations, community rallying to save the property in 1999, all make this an exiting and intriguing project.
