Dana Point - Formal Living Room, French doors
Wes Wirkkala for WIRKKALA WOODWORKS (949) 633 4018 created this new room in an dated home. This ceiling was dropped on one side to make an "A" line with a wooden beam down the center (getting rid of the large 80's style slope that went straight up to the right. The fireplace was given a facelift from the old brick and was hearthed with limestone. French doors and padded out transitions from room to room add a designer touch.
