Making it lush by adding a dash of green and a dramatic statement with bright planters with the faux grass and some colourful planters and some pretty bohemian string light for a cosy sit out at the night.

HEARTH ARCHITECTS京町の家 HEARTH ARCHITECTS
本計画は、江戸時代に整備された東海道五十三次の宿場町のひとつ「水口宿」沿いに建つ古い街並みの残る計画地です。その為、周辺の生活道路となっている前面道路や敷地は狭く、南東角地という好立地ながら道路と建物の間に広いスペースを取ることが出来ず、南東側に開けた建物を建てにくい立地条件でした。
そこで建物の南東側に中庭スペースを設け、内部と外部の干渉帯としての中間領域を創り出す事で、敷地の問題点を解決するだけでなく、より豊かな住環境を手に入れる事が可能となりました。どこからでも見渡す事の出来る中庭には落葉樹のシンボルツリーを設け、葉が生い茂る夏には日除けとして、また葉が落ちる冬には家の中に日を入れる役割を果たしてくれます。
そんなシンボルツリーは、家にいながらも四季折々の変化や時間の変化を楽しませ、クライアントの日常に豊かな変化をもたらしてくれるはずです。
