Archadeck of Northeast DallasThis is a 28-ft., L-shaped outdoor kitchen and bar with an 8-inch backsplash. For the stonework we used San Saba sawn Autumn Blend chopped stone. The beautiful counters are chocolate Lueders limestone. The outdoor kitchen is equipped with the following appliances: Turbo griddle, Grand Turbo grill, Big Green Egg smoker, True coolers, True icemaker, and Turbo trash can. The backsplash features illuminated electrical outlets that are covered for safety.

The fireplace, kitchen base and columns were all built from chopped white limestone, which matches the stone on the home. Gray Lueders stone was used atop the kitchen countertops, the stone columns and on the fireplace mantel. The profile of the covered patio is just a beautiful from the back as it is from the front.
Archadeck of Northeast DallasWe started this outdoor living combination space transformation by building out from the existing walkout nook. We meticulously constructed a stunning 16-foot by 15-foot attached Gable Roof patio cover with a Cedar TV Wall.
The new stain and stamp patio was created using the Ashler Slate stamp with a 12-inch border for precise definition of the space and architectural detail.
Our design team chose to use chopped stone on the bar area and we installed a conveniently sized refrigerator to make grabbing a cool drink effortless, without ever stepping back indoors. The redesign transformation also features grey Lueders stone tops with multi-color chopped stone. Lueders is a favorite of our design team, as it is a consistently tried and true Texas limestone, sawn on top as well as on the bottom.

Switching focus to the interior of the space, you will see a mix of wood and natural stone. An interior ceiling of tongue and groove pine melds with the stone used on the custom TV wall and outdoor kitchen. Both areas were built using Grandbury chopped stone in gray, along with a gray Lueder’s stone countertop and mantel shelf on the TV wall.

Our clients had a small, builder-grade covered patio at their back door. They wanted a larger covered space with room for dining outdoors and a special area for the therapeutic hot tub they were ready to add.
Archadeck didn’t need to extend too far out into the yard to create a substantially larger covered space. The main patio extension coming straight out from the original is covered by a gable roof, letting in lots of light. To the side of that, we created another patio extension along the back of the house for the hot tub. We designed a shed roof for the hot tub area.
Archadeck of Northeast DallasTo refresh the covered patio area Archadeck poured a brand new stain and stamp patio and did an overlay on the existing covered patio. We stamped the entire concrete patio with an ashlar slate stamp and Roman slate texture and applied an autumn brown stain with a charcoal release.
Archadeck of Northeast DallasWe designed a U-shaped outdoor kitchen that includes a grill, sink, refrigerator and kegerator. We were able to build the kitchen structure with bricks matching those of the home’s exterior. Along the outer portion of the U-shaped kitchen, the bricks follow an exquisite diagonal herringbone pattern. The interior side of the outdoor kitchen features the same bricks but laid in a traditional running bond brick pattern. The kitchen countertops are gray Lueders stone, a very popular choice for today’s outdoor kitchens.
Archadeck of Northeast DallasLike many of our clients, these homeowners chose to cover part but not all of the large patio. This design allows the ideal situation where family and guests can choose to stay under the patio cover when they want protection from the sun or perhaps rain. When the weather is nice, they have the option of enjoying the uncovered portion of the patio. The ceiling of the patio cover was built with Hardieboard, and we painted it to match the house. The posts for the patio cover are cedar with a dark chocolate stain.

Archadeck of Northeast DallasThe patio roof’s shingles match those of the home. The beautiful, tongue-and-groove wood ceiling features recessed lighting and four ceiling fans. An area this large needs more than the customary one or two ceiling fans. Notice that a portion of this patio is not covered. The homeowners can enjoy sitting in the sunshine on cooler days, and they have the option to sit out under the stars at night. Most of the supporting posts are designed as columns wrapped in cedar, while two in the outdoor kitchen area are wrapped in stone to match the kitchen and fireplace stonework.

Archadeck of Northeast DallasReminiscent of a luxurious chalet, this magnificent outdoor living combination space impresses, no matter how you look at it. From afar, looking from the extremity of the backyard, the handsome gable roof stands out – loud and strong. It is attached to a Legacy end-cut pergola, stained to match the outreaching roof structure.
The stamp and stain patio underfoot was built using a Roman Slate stamp, and the color we used was Bone and Walnut.
The ceiling finish within the roofed structure is one of our perennial favorites -- tongue and groove pine. To complement the gable roof and attached pergola color sense, it was stained in Dark Walnut.
