This bedroom, part of the New England & Cape Cod–inspired home by Studio212 Ltd, has been conceived as a calm and elegant retreat. A bespoke timber slatted headboard wall with integrated LED lighting creates a warm architectural feature, framing the upholstered bed. On either side, pendant lamps from Heals provide ambient glow and balance. To the left, a bespoke floating dressing table/desk with mirror is paired with a King Living chair, adding both practicality and refined texture. Soft cushions and a wool throw in shades of green layer subtle contrast against the crisp quilted bedspread, while a pale carpet grounds the scheme in comfort and calm.

This period property was full of original features, not least the exposed wooden beams and posts, which needed to be incorporated into the design. It’s hard to decide which features stand out most - the central island, wrapped carefully around the wooden pillar; the original fireplace, now home to a range cooker and antique-finish mirrored splashback; the gorgeous dresser unit, with butler’s pantry and double door larder; or the fridge and wine rack cleverly fitted under the stairs. It was all finished with a Quooker boiling tap and hardware by Crofts & Assinder. The spacious utility was fitted with a dog shower for the clients’ two much-loved pets. A mixture of open shelving and floor-to-ceiling cabinets in this room allowed the client to maximise the storage space and we included a handy bench seat and coat hooks close to the back door - providing easy access after those wet dog walks! All projects require careful coordination between designer, project manager, builder, their trades, our fitter and, of course, the client, but none more so than this one - that this one went so smoothly is testament to the hard work and teamwork from everyone involved. Kitchen colours: island in Little Greene Pompeiian Ash, rest of the cabinetry in Little Greene Rolling Fog. This amazing kitchen and utility room formed part of a much larger, whole-house renovation, managed by Paul Butcher of JRB Building Ltd.

Das moderne Architektenhaus im Bauhaustil wirkt mit seiner hellgrauen Putzfassade sehr warm und harmonisch zu den Holzelementen der Garagenfassade. Hierbei wurde besonderer Wert auf das Zusammenspiel der Materialien und Farben gelegt. Die Rhombus Leisten aus Lärchenholz bekommen in den nächsten Jahren witterungsbedingt eine ansprechende Grau / silberfarbene Patina, was in der Farbwahl der Putzfassade bereits berücksichtigt wurde.

When the homeowners purchased this Victorian family home, they immediately set about planning the extension that would create a more viable space for an open plan kitchen, dining and living area. Approximately two years later their dream home is now finished. The extension was designed off the original kitchen and has a large roof lantern that sits directly above the main kitchen and soft seating area beyond. French windows open out onto the garden which is perfect for the summer months. This is truly a classic contemporary space that feels so calm and collected when you walk in – the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of modern family living. Carefully zoning the kitchen, dining and living areas was the key to the success of this project and it works perfectly. The classic Lacanche range cooker is housed in a false chimney that is designed to suit the proportion and scale of the room perfectly. The Lacanche oven is the 100cm Cluny model with two large ovens – one static and one dual function static / convection with a classic 5 burner gas hob. Finished in stainless steel with a brass trim, this classic French oven looks completely at home in this Humphrey Munson kitchen. The main prep area is on the island positioned directly in front of the main cooking run, with a prep sink handily located to the left hand side. There is seating for three at the island with a breakfast bar at the opposite end to the prep sink which is conveniently located near to the banquette dining area. Delineated from the prep area by the natural wooden worktop finished in Portobello oak (the same accent wood used throughout the kitchen), the breakfast bar is a great spot for serving drinks to friends before dinner or for the children to have their meals at breakfast time and after school. The sink run is on the other side of the L shape in this kitchen and it has open artisan shelves above for storing everyday items like glassware and tableware. Either side of the sink is an integrated Miele dishwasher and a pull out Eurocargo bin to make clearing away dishes really easy. The use of open shelving here really helps the space to feel open and calm and there is a curved countertop cupboard in the corner providing space for storing teas, coffees and biscuits so that everything is to hand when making hot drinks. The Fisher & Paykel fridge freezer has Nickleby cabinetry surrounding it with space above for storing cookbooks but there is also another under-counter fridge in the island for additional cold food storage. The cook’s pantry provides masses of storage for dry ingredients as well as housing the freestanding microwave which is always a fantastic option when you want to keep integrated appliances to a minimum in order to maximise storage space in the main kitchen. Hardware throughout this kitchen is antique brass – this is a living finish that weathers with use over time. The glass globe pendant lighting above the island was designed by us and has antique brass hardware too. The flooring is Babington limestone tumbled which has bags of character thanks to the natural fissures within the stone and creates the perfect flooring choice for this classic contemporary kitchen. By opening up the existing ground floor, the kitchen becomes the heart of the home, anchored by a curved island with slatted timber detailing. It’s a space for cooking, gathering and conversation. An understated wall of vertical timber slats conceals ample storage and utility spaces, keeping the home clutter-free. Every detail ensures practicality while maintaining a calm and organized aesthetic.

L’enjeu de ce projet était de restructurer respectueusement une ancienne maison de 1870 afin d’y créer une vaste cuisine lumineuse largement ouverte sur l’espace de vie. Le déplacement de l’accès à la maison depuis la cour a permis également la redéfinition d’un nouvel espace d’entrée optimisé ainsi que la rénovation complète de l’escalier menant à l’étage. C’est dans une ambiance douce et chaleureuse aux teintes naturelles que ces nouveaux ouvrages mettent en lumière l’authenticité de la bâtisse tout en la modernisant. L’utilisation justement dosée du chêne massif dans les éléments de cuisine, les verrières et le nouvel escalier vient s’harmoniser avec l’ancienne poutraison entièrement rénovée.

Tras meses de dedicación, hemos culminado la decoración de un ático impresionante en el corazón de Madrid, ubicado en el céntrico Paseo de los Pontones. Este proyecto ha sido diseñado para una familia encantadora con tres hijos adolescentes, y ha sido un verdadero placer colaborar con ellos para crear su hogar soñado. Espacios Modernos y Funcionales El ático se destaca por sus impresionantes vistas y una magnífica terraza, perfecta para disfrutar de un café mientras se contempla el cielo de Madrid. El salón, diseñado con las dimensiones exactas, combina una zona de estar y un comedor. Hemos seleccionado una línea de mobiliario moderno, complementado con detalles decorativos coloridos que aportan calidez y un ambiente acogedor. Dormitorios Juveniles a Medida Uno de los mayores retos fue diseñar tres dormitorios juveniles, cada uno adaptado a las necesidades y gustos de los adolescentes de la casa. Cada habitación presenta un diseño moderno y personalizado, fabricado completamente a medida. Los elementos de iluminación LED, muy populares entre los jóvenes, juegan un papel crucial en la ambientación de estos espacios. Dormitorio Principal: Confort y Elegancia Para el dormitorio principal, optamos por colores neutros que transmiten una sensación de confort y tranquilidad. El punto focal de la habitación es una obra de arte cuidadosamente seleccionada que preside el cabecero de la cama, aportando un toque de sofisticación y personalidad. Cocina: Innovación y Unidad Familiar En la cocina, nos decidimos por una solución innovadora: empapelar y cubrir los azulejos existentes, creando así un espacio más contemporáneo y atractivo. Además, diseñamos un banco a medida que permite a la familia disfrutar de sus comidas juntos, promoviendo la unión y el disfrute del espacio en común.
